REMSA Announces Executive Director of Integrated Health: Adam Heinz

The Regional Emergency Medical Services Authority (REMSA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Adam Heinz to the role of Executive Director of Integrated Health. In this new role, Heinz is responsible for advancing REMSA’s innovative mobile health care projects. Through collaboration with regional partners, regulatory representatives and elected officials, Heinz represents the organization on a regional and national platform. In addition, he oversees REMSA’s clinical division and its Center for Prehospital Education.

With Adam’s dedication to ensuring clinical excellence while advancing programs and initiatives that best meet the needs of patients, we can ensure that REMSA continues to meet the healthcare needs of our community.”

He has more than 18 years of emergency medical services experience and has progressed in roles from field paramedic to EMS Supervisor, Clinical Development Manager to Director of Clinical Communications. He is a Nationally Registered Paramedic, certified as a Nevada State EMS Instructor and as an Advanced Emergency Medical Dispatcher (AEMD). Currently, Heinz serves on the Clinical Practices and Standards, and Mobile Integrated Health Committees of the National Association of EMS Physicians as well as the board of directors for Well Care Medical and Behavioral Health Clinic.

Heinz is an alumnus of the University of Nevada, Reno where he earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Currently, he is pursuing an MBA with an emphasis in healthcare leadership.
